I needed a teeth cleaning, to be honest, it was overdue. My x‑rays were a few years out-of-date too. A coworker told me about the New York Dental Plan membership $99 to join and that covers one year. Membership includes your teeth cleaning and x-rays. Even if I don't use the plans other perks, it's worth it.

I got Invisalign
I didn't think I had the money for Invisalign. A friend told me bout the dental plan's discount for Invisalign. It was still too much out of pocket, but NY Family Dental helped me apply for CareCredit*. The monthly payment ended up being less than I thought it would be $184/month (no interest). The treatment is almost over and my teeth look amazing.

I Needed a Filling
Biting down, damn, a sharp pain would shoot through my mouth. I knew it was a cavity and probably needed a filling. It turned out I needed a three surface filling at about $400. Not what I wanted to hear. I don't have insurance. With the dental plan, it was only $179. Yes, it was $99 to join the plan, but now my teeth cleaning and x-rays are free. That’s a great deal!
